Description
This project involved the installation of stainless-steel crash bollards at the main drop-off and working zone of a live hospital site, forming part of a broader initiative to enhance safety infrastructure and improve access for pedestrians and vehicles alike. The primary goal was to increase pedestrian safety, manage vehicle flow, and create a clearly defined separation between pedestrian and vehicular areas in a high-traffic, operational environment.
Working within a fully operational healthcare setting required meticulous planning and coordination. Our team ensured that all hospital operations continued uninterrupted, maintaining safe access routes for staff, patients, and visitors while adhering to the highest standards of health and safety. The installation process began with careful site preparation, including the precise marking and excavation of the areas where the bollards were to be installed. Specialist plant such as excavators and dumpers were deployed to safely and efficiently handle the excavation and material movement, while minimizing disruption to the hospital environment.
